Lessons
For children as well as adults, we offer one hour lessons, from Monday to Saturday, grouped by experience level. It takes about 30 minutes before and after the lesson to take care of your mount.
- 4-5 years old :
- the one hour session includes the preparation of the poney
- parents must be present :
- the first few sessions, to handle the poney until the child acquires enough confidence to work autonomously
- on every ride
- the objective is that the child rides their poney alone after a few sessions
- 2-3 years old :
- there is about 20 to 30 minutes of poney riding during the one hour session
- parents must be present during the whole session
Training courses
During the school vacations we organise horse and poney training courses. You can take poney courses for a whole week. There are two types of courses :
- half day :
- 1h30 of horse riding
- learning about horses and the equestrian world
- looking after horses
- day :
- 3h of horse riding
- learning about horses and the equestrian world
- looking after horses
Rides
Thanks to its prime location, the club has immediate access to hiking paths. We organise rides for every level, from beginner to experienced.
- poney rides :
- half hour ride with an adult holding the reins
- hour ride with trot (rising trot required)
- hour ride with the three gaits (gallop while standing in stirrups required)
- a half day ride with a snack break at the “allée couverte de Lesconil” for those who can trot rising.
- horse rides :
- one hour ride at a walking pace for the beginners
- one hour ride with some trot (rising trot required)
- one hour ride with the three gaits (gallop while standing in stirrups required)
